From her earliest days in primary school, Monika was drawn to the challenge of problem-solving. Over time, she came to appreciate how deeply mathematics is embedded in our world. From the simplest to the most complex scenarios, mathematical principles shape the way we understand and navigate life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monika\u2019s passion for numbers and logic led her to study <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/study-programs\/bachelor-in-mathematics\/\">mathematics<\/a> at the University of Luxembourg, where she obtained her degree in 2019. Today, her expertise has brought her to a pivotal role at UBS, where she plays a key part in ensuring investment funds remain within risk limits. Every decision and calculation she makes is rooted in mathematics, underscoring the real-world significance of her studies and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monika\u2019s story serves as a powerful reminder that gender-related stereotypes should never limit our potential.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-spacer is-spacer-size-sm\"><\/div>\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-quote-people\">\n    <div class=\"quote-people\" role=\"group\">\n        <figure class=\"quote-people__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"quote-people__blockquote\">\n    <span class=\"quote-people__quote\">\u201f<\/span>\n    You might think that with a degree in mathematics, you can only become a professor, but that&#8217;s completely wrong.
