This year the winning candidate is Sara Vatavu with an average grade of 19.0.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"what-do-you-like-so-much-in-applied-information-technology\"\n    >\nWhat do you like so much in Applied Information Technology ?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, information technology is the future, but the key to gaining a deeper grasp of this sector is to apply it. I&#8217;ve always enjoyed reading about mathematical algorithms, but now I can understand and use them for solving real-world problems, which is not only useful but also a lot of fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"what-are-the-qualities-to-succeed-in-this-ba-programme\"\n    >\nWhat are the qualities to succeed in this BA programme ?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I would say the &#8220;recipe&#8221; is to be motivated, passionate, and hardworking, eager to invest as much time as possible in order to develop, because &#8220;practice makes perfect,&#8221; as we all know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"what-does-this-award-represent-to-you\"\n    >\nWhat does this award represent to you ?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming into my first year of university, my primary goal was to be the best version of myself that I could be, as I had done throughout the years. &#8220;Winning&#8221; this award highlighted to me the importance our university places on students who give their all. I am more than honored to be in this position, and I see the award as encouragement to continue forward and provide the same results in the coming semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"what-would-you-say-to-all-women-who-are-still-hesitant-to-start-a-career-in-it\"\n    >\nWhat would you say to all women who are still hesitant to start a career in IT ?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The original computer programmers were mainly women, as it was first thought to be a very feminine job. Even if times have changed, regardless of gender, one should focus on following their own goals.
