{"id":35747,"date":"2022-04-19T14:49:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-19T12:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=35747"},"modified":"2025-02-25T15:07:10","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T14:07:10","slug":"phd-presentation-event-of-doctoral-programme-in-computational-sciences","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/news\/phd-presentation-event-of-doctoral-programme-in-computational-sciences\/","title":{"rendered":"PhD presentation event of Doctoral Programme in Computational Sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-free-section section\"><div class=\"container xl:max-w-screen-xl\">\n<p>On 22 March 2022, 20 promising doctoral students from the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/driven.uni.lu\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">DTU DRIVEN<\/a> presented their research in the field of computational sciences and\/or data-driven modelling for a variety of application domains, e.g. environment, health, engineering, space and energy to the entire doctoral programme in <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/formations\/fstm\/doctoral_programme_in_computational_sciences\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Data and Computational&nbsp;Sciences (DPCS)<\/a> led by Prof. St\u00e9phane Bordas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea of this conference was to discuss key figures and challenges in research and industry in Luxembourg with some dignified guests, and gave the opportunity for doctoral students to meet and interact with each other after 2 years of pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event took place from 9:00 to 19:00 on the Belval campus and brought around 130 participants together from a dozen countries.
