{"id":35695,"date":"2022-07-12T11:05:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T09:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=35695"},"modified":"2025-02-25T12:24:05","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T11:24:05","slug":"the-release-of-a-new-book-in-mathematics","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/news\/the-release-of-a-new-book-in-mathematics\/","title":{"rendered":"The release of a new book in Mathematics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-free-section section\"><div class=\"container xl:max-w-screen-xl\">\n<p>Jean-Luc Marichal and Na\u00efm Zena\u00efdi recently published &#8220;A Generalization of Bohr-Mollerup&#8217;s Theorem for Higher Order Convex Functions&#8221;, a distinguished book on the developments&nbsp;in Mathematics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Springer Developments in Mathematics is a prestigious book series specially designed for monographs that bring new important contributions in pure and applied mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This volume develops a far-reaching generalization of Bohr-Mollerup&#8217;s theorem to higher order convex functions, along lines initiated by Wolfgang Krull, Roger Webster, and some others but going considerably further than past work.
