The event took place at Cercle-Cit\u00e9 and brought together around 100 participants eager to explore groundbreaking ideas in artificial intelligence. Seven finalists presented their innovative projects, followed by poster presentations that highlighted additional creative AI solutions. Overall, the event provided a dynamic platform for exploring AI-driven solutions and suggestions for improvements across various sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"real-life-impact-projects\"\n    >\nReal-life impact projects<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The evening kicked off with some welcome remarks from Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2dh.uni.lu\/fr\/people\/maxime-derian\">Maxime Derian<\/a> and Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.us.es\/trabaja-en-la-us\/directorio\/yolanda-spinola-elias\">Yolanda Spinola<\/a> (University of Seville), who set the tone for the event by emphasising the importance of innovation in the AI field. Their words were then followed by an evening of engaging presentations, where participants shared their innovative and real-life impact projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">The competition&#8217;s first prize (\u20ac2,000) was awarded to Mrs. Marisa Steinmetz for her project &#8220;<em>DreamMapper: AI-powered Career Orientation &amp; Planning Platform for Teens<\/em>&#8220;. DreamMapper aims to help young people navigate their career paths. It uses AI to provide personalised advice   based on their skills, interests, and aspirations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Benoit Alcaraz claimed the second-place prize (\u20ac1,500) for his innovative idea, &#8220;<em>Using Large Language Models to Teach Programming: An Innovative and Flexible Approach<\/em>&#8220;. His project seeks to make learning programming languages more adaptable and accessible for students of all levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Finally, the third-place prize (\u20ac1,000) went to Yahia Elhawary for his work on &#8220;<em>Revolutionising Construction: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Building the Future<\/em>&#8220;. This ambitious idea explores how AI can transform the construction industry. From smarter design tools to automation in building processes, the project aims to improve efficiency and sustainability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"poster-award-ceremony-awarding-excellence-in-ai-research\"\n    >\nPoster award ceremony: awarding excellence in AI research<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The event also featured a Poster award ceremony, where participants submitted in-depth research on AI topics. Their contributions played a key role in the event&#8217;s success, sparking lively discussions and inspiring new ideas among attendees.
