the occasion of the ninth edition of the <strong>Information Security Education Day (ISED)<\/strong> which took place on 7 June 2024 in Belval, around 70 experts from academia and industry discussed the new trends in AI and cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an introduction by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmayer.eu\/\">Dr. Nicolas Mayer<\/a>, senior R&amp;T associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology&nbsp;(LIST) and Course Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/missm.uni.lu\/\">Master in Information Systems Security Management (MISSM)<\/a> who welcomed the participants and presented the Master, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/snt-en\/people\/maxime-cordy\/\">Dr. Maxime Cordy<\/a>, research scientist at the University of Luxembourg, introduced the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, six experts from renowned associations and companies shared their knowledge and experience related to the theme. <strong>Medhi Famibelle<\/strong>, artificial intelligence engineer at Deloitte explained the current adoption of large language models and its security risks ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/anusha-moonshiram-phd-84969341\/?originalSubdomain=lu\">Anusha Moonshiram<\/a>, vice-president of Women Cyber Force, examined the evolving cyber landscape along with the market size and duality of AI in cybersecurity ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/catalintiganila\/?originalSubdomain=lu\">Catalin Tiganila<\/a>, consultant and member of ISACA, presented the AI risk framework proposed by ISACA Luxembourg Chapter ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/johann-alessandroni-7b60b03a\/?originalSubdomain=fr\">Johann Alessandroni<\/a>, Information Security Governance Team Leader&nbsp;at Excellium Services, introduced how to manage cybersecurity issues and protect AI systems&nbsp;; <strong>Theodora Ciungan<\/strong>, principal security leader at Amazon, talked about the capabilities to bolster overall cybersecurity defences by identifying threats and helping companies ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/fawzii\/?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Egoogle%2Ecom%2F&amp;originalSubdomain=nl\">Mohamed Fawzi<\/a>, security and compliance lead at Google Cloud,
