Addressing the current fragmentation of local hydrogen valley projects, ValHyCon seeks to transition from isolated pilots to a strategically connected and scalable regional ecosystem. The project fosters structured knowledge exchange, capacity building, and scenario development for interconnection and scaling, providing a collaborative foundation for stakeholders.\n\nThree strategic objectives guide ValHyCon\u2019s approach:\n- Strengthening hydrogen valley development through peer learning and capacity-building activities;\n- Establishing pilot cases and scenarios for regional scaling and physical interconnection, including feasibility studies on hydrogen backbones and modular transport solutions;\n- Delivering a joint implementation strategy and roadmap for the 2030\u20132040 period, aligning investment and policy priorities for hydrogen deployment.\n\nValHyCon\u2019s outputs include pilot case studies demonstrating inter-regional hydrogen connectivity, a comprehensive guidebook with practical insights and policy recommendations, and a strategic roadmap for sustainable hydrogen development in NWE.
