Presentation
Sustainability is an increasingly important topic. Well-trained civil engineers must be able to judge and optimise civil structures and buildings in the context of the growing scarcity of construction materials and energy resources. The double focus of the MSCE – megastructures and sustainability – sets it apart from other masters in civil engineering.

International dimension
Join an international and multicultural environment and work at the heart of Europe, a short train ride away from Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt etc.
Pedagogy
You will get a general civil engineer education. Most large universities offer master programmes focusing on one domain of civil engineering. MSCE graduates are generalists, meeting the needs of small and large organisations. Furthermore, you will join a strong research unit. The MSCE programme is taught by the Department of Engineering (DoE), one of the largest research units at the University, hosting top professors from around Europe. Benefit from individual supervision, small classes, and an optimal learning environment and conduct your own design project and your Master thesis within a company.
