Resilient Geotechnics: a journey through scales

The Computational Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering group (COMPSOIL) conducts research in the field of geotechnical and subsurface engineering, cooperating with research scholars/institutes, industry and government.

Soil and rock mechanics in surface to deep constructions

Our fundamental research aims to bridge the gap posed by rapidly expanding domains, including offshore foundations for wind energy, geothermal systems, subsurface constructions, landfills, waste repositories, and geohazards induced by climate change.
