Are you the scientist of tomorrow?
The campaign “GirlsinSciTech” is composed of 12 videos with our former students, 3 videos in each discipline. Laurence, Nicole and Saharnaz graduated in computer science ; LIisa, Marie-Alix, Marie-Louise graduated in engineering ; Cristina, Guendalina and Monika graduated in mathematics ; Anjali, Hélène and Joana graduated in physics.
Starting with the launch event on 9 January 2025, each month, a new video will be disseminated, stay tuned!
January 2025
The video will be released during the event “Girls studying science and technology: how to make it happen?” on 9 January 2025. Marie-Alix Dalle is Environmental Engineer at ArcelorMittal. She graduated with a PhD in Engineering in 2022.
February 2025
The video will be released on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 11 February 2025. Laurence Lampecco is Analyst Developer at POST Luxembourg. She graduated with a Bachelor in Computer Science in 2020.
March 2025
The video will be released on the occasion of the International Day of Mathematics on 14 March 2025. Monika Zlopaša is Investment Fund Risk Manager at UBS Luxembourg. She graduated with a Master in Mathematics in 2019.
April 2025
The video will be released on the occasion of the International Girls in ICT Day on 24 April 2025. Saharnaz Dilmaghani is Manager at Advisory – Data and AI Team at PwC Luxembourg. She graduated with a PhD in Computer Science in 2022.

The video will be released on the occasion of the International Day of Light on 16 May 2025. Anjali Sharma is Senior Editor at Nature Communications. She graduated with a PhD in Physics in 2021.

The video will be released on the occasion of the International women in engineering day on 23 June 2025. Lisa Jungerwirth is Advisor on sustainable energy transition at Klima-agence. She graduated with a Bachelor in Engineering in 2021.

The video will be released on the occasion of the World Chess Day on 20 July 2025. Cristina Barbolan is Head of Controlling at ArcelorMittal Luxembourg. She graduated with a Master in Mathematics in 2013.

The video will be released on the occasion of the International Youth Day on 12 August 2025. Hélène Meadows is Risk Manager at the European Investment Bank. She graduated with a PhD in Physics in 2014.

The video will be released on the occasion of the World Engineers Day on 15 September 2025. Marie-Louise Uwizeye is Chargée d’études at the Administration de la gestion de l’eau. She graduated with a PhD in Engineering in 2022.
