Spannender wird es noch w\u00e4hrend einer Physikdemonstration, die in einer lauten, verbl\u00fcffenden Explosion endet. Genau dies geschah letzte Woche im Tramsschapp in Limpertsberg.\u00a0Rund 300 Personen, darunter 60 Sch\u00fcler und Studierende aus Bachelor- und Masterstudieng\u00e4ngen, nahmen an einem \u00f6ffentlichen Vortrag von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobelprize.org\/prizes\/physics\/1997\/phillips\/facts\/\">Prof. William D. Phillips<\/a>, Nobelpreistr\u00e4ger f\u00fcr Physik von 1997, teil. Seine Vorstellung fand im Rahmen der Konferenz \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/conferences\/physics-for-future\/\">Physics for future<\/a>\u201c statt und vereinte Forscher, politische Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger, Vertreter der Industrie und interessiertes Publikum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eDeine Mutter hatte recht &#8211; stelle niemals einen geschlossenen Beh\u00e4lter in den Ofen!\u201c scherzte Prof. Phillips, kurz nachdem eine mit fl\u00fcssigem Stickstoff gef\u00fcllte Flasche mit einem donnernden Knall aufgesprungen war.
