The University will gradually return some activities to the campuses as of 4 May. During a first stage, presence on campus will be allowed for staff and students conducting or attending TPs and TDs that could not otherwise be substituted; lab personnel such as researchers, technical and safety staff; personnel responsible for the implementation of the return to campus strategy; and a limited number of University staff with critical functions requiring physical presence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a first stage, presence on campus will be allowed for staff and students conducting or attending TPs and TDs that could not otherwise be substituted; lab personnel such as researchers, technical and safety staff; personnel responsible for the implementation of the return to campus strategy; and a limited number of University staff with critical functions requiring physical presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remote work remains the norm<\/strong> for most staff members and students during the initial phases of deconfinement. Physical presence in University buildings is allowed only insofar as safety and sanitary measures can be observed. The University aims not to exceed 25% of the normal daily occupancy .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University plans a second stage of deconfinement starting 25 May. The first stage of deconfinement at the University starts 4 May, followed by the second stage on 25 May. The detailed timeline with the confirmed stages of deconfinement at the University is available as PDF<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deconfinement measures are aligned with the recommendations of the health authorities and may change as the situation evolves in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety measures must be respected at all times: <\/strong>All staff members and students whose presence on campus is allowed must sign in. Masks, scarfs or bandanas are mandatory in common spaces as well as in every situation where a minimum distance of two (2) metres cannot be respected. Events and gatherings of any kind as well as visits from external parties will continue to be prohibited through 31 July 2020. Special rules apply to doctoral thesis defense meetings, for which a limited presence on campus is authorised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
