Dans son projet \u00ab Ultrafast tunneling microscopy by optical field control of quantum currents \u2013 UpTEMPO \u00bb, il utilisera des instruments laser ultra-rapides pour \u00e9tudier le fonctionnement interne des mat\u00e9riaux.<\/p><p>\u00ab Cette bourse de l\u2019ERC me permettra de poursuivre une nouvelle direction tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressante de recherche et d\u2019\u00e9tablir fermement au Luxembourg des techniques ultra-rapides d\u2019investigation des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes fondamentaux de la mati\u00e8re \u00bb, explique le professeur Brida.<\/p><p>Daniele Brida d\u00e9veloppera la technologie et le dispositif exp\u00e9rimental qui utilisent des impulsions laser tr\u00e8s rapides pour induire des courants dans des \u00e9chantillons en vue de mesurer le comportement et la dynamique des \u00e9lectrons dans des nanostructures et des mol\u00e9cules. \u00ab L\u2019objectif est de comprendre les m\u00e9canismes qui d\u00e9terminent les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de la mati\u00e8re avec pour vision \u00e0 long terme la conception de mat\u00e9riaux de pointe servant \u00e0 un vaste spectre d\u2019applications allant par exemple du photovolta\u00efque aux syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectroniques et capteurs haute vitesse \u00bb, ajoute Daniele Brida.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"nombre-croissant-de-prix-erc-en-science\"\n    >\nNombre croissant de prix ERC en science<\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab Nous sommes enchant\u00e9s de la r\u00e9ussite de la proposition du professeur Brida aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"European Research Council\" rel=\"noopener\">ERC <\/a>dans le domaine interdisciplinaire de la physique laser, de la spectroscopie \u00e0 r\u00e9solution temporelle et de la microscopie de surface \u00bb, commente le professeur Ludger Wirtz, directeur de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/recherche\/fstm\/dphyms\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Unit\u00e9 de recherche en Physique et Science des mat\u00e9riaux<\/a> \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Luxembourg. \u00ab C\u2019est la quatri\u00e8me bourse de l\u2019ERC obtenue au sein de l\u2019Unit\u00e9 de recherche en Physique et Science des mat\u00e9riaux et la sixi\u00e8me obtenue par des professeurs de la <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/fstm\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Facult\u00e9 des Sciences, de la Technologie et de la Communication<\/a>.
