It has been about one hundred days since Jens Kreisel took office as the Rector of the University of Luxembourg in January 2023. Among his priorities was to engage with stakeholders both inside and outside the University, to establish the groundwork for forthcoming initiatives, and to assemble a cohesive leadership team.<\/p>

This team of committed colleagues who share the ambition of building a research university of global standing is now complete:<\/p>

Catherine Leglu<\/a>,\u00a0Vice Rector for Academic Affairs\u00a0since September 2019, will remain responsible\u00a0for\u00a0HigherEducation, student and campus life, and continuing education.<\/p>

Simone P. Niclou<\/a>,\u00a0Vice Rector for\u00a0Research\u00a0who joined on 1 March 2023, is responsible for research, doctoral education, and interdisciplinarity.<\/p>

Marie-Helene Jobin<\/a>, newly appointed\u00a0Vice Rector for Partnerships and International Relations, will start on 15 June 2023 and is responsible for the University\u2019s international\u00a0strategy,\u00a0knowledge\u00a0and\u00a0technology\u00a0transfer, as well as outreach to the society.<\/p>

Marc Grabowski<\/a>, Head of Administration and Finance\u00a0(DAF), will take office on 1 May.<\/p>

The University wishes all new colleagues much success in their mission.<\/p>\n
