The University of Luxembourg, within the framework of its Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS), opened a call for doctoral projects under the funding instrument\u00a0YOUNG ACADEMICS\u00a0on 3 May 2021. The submission\u00a010 interdisciplinary projects<\/a>. YOUNG ACADEMICS is the second instrument to be launched by the IAS and follows the AUDACITY instrument, which has already given life to\u00a0deadline will be 30 June 2021 – 14.00<\/strong>.<\/p>

The instrument YOUNG ACADEMICS provides funding opportunities to attract doctoral candidates (Early Stage Researchers \u2013 ESR) who wish to conduct an interdisciplinary doctoral research project at the University of Luxembourg. In order to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, the doctoral research project must be run between distinct University departments or interdisciplinary centres, potentially with external partners.<\/p>

YOUNG ACADEMICS is explicitly open to all disciplines, topics and sectors within the academic competences of the University. It targets talented doctoral candidates who can demonstrate a strong inclination to working independently and interdisciplinarily. Postdoctoral researchers will be targeted in future calls.<\/p>
