He will delineate the main research questions under scrutiny in the Physics of Active Matter group, such as the search for universal features in active matter, and highlight how these open challenges can reshape our understanding of living systems..<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"about-the-speaker\"\n    >\nAbout the speaker<\/h4>\n<p>Prof. Etienne Fodor joined the University of Luxembourg as part\u00a0of the Department of Physics and Materials Science in October\u00a02020, benefiting from a FNR ATTRACT grant. Before coming\u00a0to Luxembourg, he was an Oppenheimer Research Fellow at\u00a0the University of Cambridge, and he obtained his PhD thesis\u00a0at Universit\u00e9 Paris Diderot.
