Due to these qualities cultural institutions worldwide are experimenting with new ways of communicating, reviving and preserving cultural heritage. The session will show how adapting a body-based design approach that goes beyond the audiovisual can bring about new forms of learning and understanding history.

Katharina Tillmanns is a researcher, designer and lecturer for interactive immersive media at TH Köln (https://colognegamelab.de).
