Malcolm Bain, a lawyer specialising in Information Technology and Intellectual Property law is coming to SnT on 2 December to talk about the nature of open source as technology, licensing and business model.<\/p>

Malcolm will present a rich approach to the pros and cons of Open Source, the risks and challenges and the best practices in Open Source management. At the end of this seminar, you will know how to recognise Open Source licenses and license types, how to manage Open Source as components in a research project, how to distinguish types of tech transfer licensing and business models based on Open Source technologies, and much more.<\/p>
