Her research focuses on the German and international press in the era of the two world wars, and on media representations of antisemitism and the Holocaust. She has worked extensively with digitised historical newspapers from Germany, Great Britain, the USA, France, Italy and Austria within the framework of various research projects concerning the German- Jewish press 1914-1918, female war reporters during the First World War, and international press reporting on German antisemitism during the Weimar Republic.
