Katrien Van Poeck (Ghent University), Arjen Wals (Wageningen University &#038; Gothenburg University) and Ariane K\u00f6nig (University of Luxembourg) edited a Special Issue on this topic for the journal \u2018Environmental Education Research\u2019. The collection assembles topical research from Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg thus presenting an overview of traditions and recent developments in ESE research, policy and practice in this specific regional context. All the same, it addresses a more general topic: the relation between education and societal transformation in the face of sustainability challenges.<\/p><p>The seminar is aimed at policymakers, practitioners and researchers. It strives to nurture a transdisciplinary dialogue between them by presenting state of the art scientific work, reflecting on its relevance and usefulness for policy and practice and identifying interesting pathways for future research.<\/p><p>A detailed program is available on the next page.
