This laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge technology to monitor activity of the brain, of multiple body organs and their interaction.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"list-of-equipment\"\n    >\nList of equipment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The CLIPSLAB consists of a suite of 4 custom-built, independent rooms (one with a Faraday cage) for the non-invasive monitoring of psychophysiological responses to a wide range of psychologically relevant stimuli and situations, including pictures, videos, auditory stimuli, and complex social-interactive paradigms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The equipment includes bio-amplifiers for the monitoring of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">the central-nervous-system (4 X 64-channel EEG; functional near-infrared spectroscopy),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">cardiovascular (continuous blood pressure, ECG, impedance cardiography, photoplethysmography),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">electrodermal (skin conductance),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">respiratory (breathing belt, spirometry, respiratory resistances and occlusions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">gastrointestinal (electrogastrogram), and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">muscular activity (electromyographical ), as well as<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">eye movements and pupillometry (electrooculography and remote eye-tracking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, there are amplifiers for ambulatory monitoring, partially portable amplifier systems (ECG, EMG, EDA), equipment for neurostimulation (transcranial magnetic stimulation, including a neuro-navigator, transcutaneous vagal nerve stimulation), and biofeedback\/neurofeedback devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One laboratory is equipped with a 3D body scanner and an advanced virtual reality (VR) equipment, which enables us to scan participants and to include their 3D model in VR environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-left
