infancy through adolescence. Among the many questions we investigate are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">How does speaking multiple languages affect children\u2019s cognitive development?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">What strategies can make reading and language learning easier for children who are learning a second language?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">How can we improve the identification of language learning disorders in multilingual children?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">What are the early markers for neurodevelopmental disorders, and what effective strategies can we use to support children who face these learning challenges?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">How do a child\u2019s surroundings and relationships impact their learning and growth?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">What impact does early adversity have on a child\u2019s mental health?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">How does creativity develop in children, and how does it influence their thinking and emotional growth?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">What are the connections between the mind and the brain, and how do biological processes support children\u2019s thinking and their learning?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Located in the \u201cMaison des Sciences Humaines\u201d at Belval Campus, our lab features child-friendly spaces and state-of-the-art testing rooms. We design our studies to be both fun and insightful, using interactive games and creative activities to engage children. From solving puzzles and playing computer or language-based games to participating in storytelling, children find these experiences enjoyable, helping us learn more about their developmental processes.<\/p>\n\n<p>The lab is home to the Cognitive and Socio-Emotional Development Research Group and is a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/facilities\/epsylon\/\">Experimental Psychology Laboratories Network <\/a>(EPSYLON).
