motivated by increases in <strong>stress and mental health<\/strong> problems, the development of <strong>digital technologies<\/strong>, artificial intelligence, and the challenges and opportunities of <strong>diverse, multilingual societies undergoing demographic changes<\/strong>, such as Luxembourg. We employ experimental and observational methodologies, as well as large-scale longitudinal surveys, physiological measurement and experience sampling to understand how people behave and how their behavior and thoughts interact with their social and cultural environments throughout the life span. Our research is translated into real-world applications (e.g., assessment instruments, trainings, educational materials), aimed at improving mental health and educational outcomes, and generates societal impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We closely collaborate with national partners in Luxembourg from research institutions, industry, social organizations, as well as international research institutions. Research in the Department takes an interdisciplinary approach and is fully committed to the research priorities of the University, focusing on health, the digital transformation and sustainable and
