technology and teacher professionalisation. His work at the University of Luxembourg and Johannes Kepler University Linz involves pioneering projects integrating 3D modelling, augmented reality, and innovative pedagogical strategies to enhance mathematics education. He has led numerous international collaborations to develop transdisciplinary STEAM pedagogical innovations and foster computational thinking in early education. Additionally, he was actively involved in developing the dynamic mathematics software GeoGebra for five years, contributing significantly to its advancement and application in educational settings. He has developed and taught various courses, including foundational mathematics didactics, educational research methods, and innovative STEAM projects. He is known for his dynamic teaching approach, integrating technology such as GeoGebra and 3D modelling to enhance learning experiences. He has also supervised numerous PhD students, fostering their academic growth and research skills. During his studies at the University of Fribourg, he worked as an undergraduate assistant for three years, managing an extensive Windows NT network and gaining valuable technical and administrative skills. After his studies, he worked in primary education for a short time and afterwards taught mathematics and computer science in secondary schools in Luxembourg, where he developed innovative educational practices. As an instructor at the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Centre (LLLC), he provided office application training for 9 years. Before joining the University at its creation in 2003, he had already worked for two years at the Institut Sup\u00e9rieur d&#8217;\u00c9tudes et de Recherches P\u00e9dagogiques (ISERP), teaching mathematics education. Additionally, he has been involved in in-service teacher training at the Institut de Formation de l&#8217;\u00c9ducation Nationale since 2009, supporting educators&#8217; professional development. Since 2018, he has also been an invited professor at Johannes Kepler University Linz, contributing to research and teaching doctoral students in STEAM education.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"educational-background\"\n    >\nEducational background<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>Yves has an extensive educational background in mathematics and education. He earned his Dipl\u00f4me en Math\u00e9matiques from the Universit\u00e9 de Fribourg in Switzerland, where he specialised in mathematics and computer science. He completed a thesis on iterative methods for pseudospectral procedures to solve boundary value problems. He furthered his education with a Dipl\u00f4me de Formation P\u00e9dagogique from the Centre Universitaire de Luxembourg, focusing on teacher training with subject specialisation in mathematics and achieving distinction.
