approach<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) brings together five Departments and one Centre whose work aimed at understanding and response to complex societal issues in time of rapid technological and economic changes. They offer critical perspectives and provide tools to address complex challenges such as social inequality, urban evolution, multilingualism, migration or ageing population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the hub for human sciences at Luxembourg\u2019s only public research university, the FHSE plays a unique and important role in society. Our research explores key issues that matter to Luxembourg today from multilingualism to diversity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We not only contribute to global academic conversations through respected publications, but also support local decision-making. How can we shape these changes in a social and sustainable way? Those are the questions that lie at the heart of the Faculty&#8217;s research activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"our-research-priority\"\n    >\nOur research priority<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Multilingualism and cultural diversity shape and challenge Luxembourg\u00b4s society every day and in every way \u2013 especially in the education system. The involved border researchers from universities in France, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg analyse borders and border regions in Europe and beyond. Its aim is to promote research, teaching and documentation on human rights. With its Chairs, UNESCO seeks to raise awareness about its work and objectives within universities. The chair mainly supports research activities in the domains of democracy, legislation and comparable politics in Europe.
