You\u2019ve probably wondered – and been asked – what you can do with your degree more times than you can count. The good news is that humanities and social science degree holders have more options than ever to use their skillset in more career paths than ever. So the question is: How to discover and land those jobs? This talk will cover aspects of career discernment and management for humanities and social science degree holders: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Guest speaker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Alex Johnston<\/strong> is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University, Washington, DC. As Director of Master\u2019s Programs and Career Management, Dr. Johnston has advised hundreds of students on their career pathways and coached them in their job applications. She has over 15 years experience as an executive coach and consultant to Fortune 500 companies, delivering professional professional development workshops in intercultural communication, leadership development, and presentation skills. She has also worked as a nonprofit organization leader in the international educational exchange space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
