It will investigate the day-to-day dynamics of SPIQ, learning processes, and outcomes using experience sampling (aka ambulatory assessment, electronic diaries) to study secondary school students and their teachers in everyday school life. It focuses on the three basic dimensions of instructional quality: cognitive activation, classroom management, and student support. The project will address four objectives: understanding the multilevel structure of SPIQ, investigating within-person processes, exploring heterogeneity in within-person dynamics, and examining the generalizability of findings between German and Luxembourgish schools.
