This increased difficulty in the career path of autistic women may be due to two major factors. Firstly, the fact that women with autism are more likely than men with autism to hide their autistic symptoms. Secondly, the fact that the aids designed to support the career paths of people with autism are not as effective for women as they are for men. In this project, we aim, by means of a survey and interviews with autistic and non-autistic women and men in France and Luxembourg, to gain a better understanding of the difficulties encountered by autistic women in their career paths, particularly in terms of the use of camouflage strategies and a comparison of the aids put in place in Luxembourg and France. With the expected results, we hope to be able to define guidelines and concrete recommendations for those concerned and key players in Luxembourg and France on how to better support the career paths of women with autism and promote their well-being and mental health.","rp_start_date":"2024-02-01 13:51:18","rp_duration":24,"rp_main_funder":"FIRAH - International Foundation of Applied Disability Research","rp_other_funders":["FIRAH - International Foundation of Applied Disability Research"],"rp_external_partners":["Association Fondation Bompard","Fondation Autisme Luxembourg","Service d\u2019Int\u00e9gration Scolaire et Universitaire"],"rp_keywords":["Autism","Women","Job access","Job retention","Well-being","Camouflaging","Mental health"],"rp_members":[{"name":"Andreia COSTA","isPI":true,"isExternal":false,"featuredImageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/person-image\/NTAwMDI4NjJfX0FuZHJlaWEgQ09TVEE=","detailsPageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/people\/andreia-costa\/","id":"50002862"},{"name":"Eric Landfried","isPI":true,"isExternal":true,"featuredImageUrl":"","detailsPageUrl":"","entity":"Association Fondation Bompard (project holder)"},{"name":"Judith Ollinger","isPI":true,"isExternal":true,"featuredImageUrl":"","detailsPageUrl":"","entity":"Fondation Autisme Luxembourg"},{"name":"Ma\u00eft\u00e9 Libert","isPI":false,"isExternal":true,"featuredImageUrl":"","detailsPageUrl":"","entity":"Fondation Autisme Luxembourg"}]},"research-project-status":[271],"research-project-type":[270],"field-of-interest":[440],"organisation":[150,147],"authorship":[296,107,111,109],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches\/16346"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/core-researches"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/296"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches\/16346\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":16347,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches\/16346\/revisions\/16347"}],"wp:authorship":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/296"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/107"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/111"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/109"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16346"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"research-project-status","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/research-project-status?post=16346"},{"taxonomy":"research-project-type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/research-project-type?post=16346"},{"taxonomy":"field-of-interest","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/field-of-interest?post=16346"},{"taxonomy":"organisation","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/organisation?post=16346"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
