In this project we hypothesise that in a manner similar to early-life adversity we will see increased\nimmunosenescence and an altered circulating lymphocyte population biased towards inflammaging after exposure to psychosocial adversity in adulthood. Inflammaging and immunosenescence are key drivers of many noncommunicable diseases.\nPsychosocial adversity is a key element in the panoply of non-molecular factors that lead to the development and progression of many non-communicable diseases and is part of the complex interaction between the individual and its\u2019 environment. This interdisciplinary project brings together four collaborators from three institutions (LIH, University of Bielefeld and University of Luxembourg) working in four very different domains. The project proposers have complimentary expertise in molecular epigenetics of stress and of the immune system (LIH), psychobiology and clinical\npsychology (University of Luxembourg), sociology (University of Bielefeld) and economics (University of Luxembourg).","rp_start_date":"2022-01-15 13:30:12","rp_duration":48,"rp_main_funder":"FNR","rp_other_funders":["DFG"],"rp_external_partners":[],"rp_keywords":["Adversity","Inflammaging","Immunosenescence"],"rp_members":[{"name":"Dominika REPCIKOVA","isPI":true,"isExternal":false,"featuredImageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/person-image\/NTAwNDcwOTVfX0RvbWluaWthIFJFUENJS09WQQ==","detailsPageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/people\/dominika-repcikova\/","id":"50047095"},{"name":"Claus V\u00d6GELE","isPI":false,"isExternal":false,"featuredImageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/person-image\/NTAwMDMyNzVfX0NsYXVzIFbDlkdFTEU=","detailsPageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/people\/claus-vogele\/","id":"50003275"},{"name":"Conchita D'AMBROSIO","isPI":false,"isExternal":false,"featuredImageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/person-image\/NTAwMDE0NTNfX0NvbmNoaXRhIEQnQU1CUk9TSU8=","detailsPageUrl":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/people\/conchita-dambrosio\/","id":"50001453"},{"name":" Jon TURNER","isPI":false,"isExternal":true,"featuredImageUrl":"","detailsPageUrl":"","entity":"Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH)"},{"name":"Martin DIEWALD","isPI":false,"isExternal":true,"featuredImageUrl":"","detailsPageUrl":"","entity":"University of Bielefeld"}]},"research-project-status":[271],"research-project-type":[263],"field-of-interest":[440],"organisation":[150,147,162],"authorship":[295,296,111,107,109],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches\/15557"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/core-researches"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/295"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches\/15557\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":15560,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/core-researches\/15557\/revisions\/15560"}],"wp:authorship":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/295"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/296"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/111"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/107"},{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/109"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/15559"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=15557"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"research-project-status","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/research-project-status?post=15557"},{"taxonomy":"research-project-type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/research-project-type?post=15557"},{"taxonomy":"field-of-interest","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/field-of-interest?post=15557"},{"taxonomy":"organisation","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/organisation?post=15557"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
