In our study we focus on the employment situation and the employment trajectories of graduates of the BA-programme in Social and Educational Sciences (BSSE) of the University of Luxembourg. The overall ambition is to obtain indicators for a future-oriented and sustainable professionalisation of academic professionals in the social sector.\n\nOur current study complements previous and ongoing research at the University of Luxembourg on the topic of employability and lifelong learning with a long-term perspective. The study fits in with comparable international studies and allows a comparison in the context of the Greater Region as well as in an international context.\n\nWhat are the methods? \u2013 Research design of SLAM\nWith particular attention to the alumni\u2019s perspectives and experiences, the project asks which professional profiles and which ideas of professionalisation can be identified among former BSSE-students.
