Why study with us?

The Master in Psychotherapy is based on up-to-date research in psychotherapy. Course content and level of training meet the guidelines of the European Federation of Psychological Associations (EFPA). Career prospects are excellent as recent analyses have shown that there is a shortage of qualified psychotherapists in Luxembourg and neighbouring countries and that demand will continue to increase.

What do we offer our students?

A comprehensive training approach reflecting the scientist-practitioner model with respect to practical and research skills.

The Master in Psychotherapy offers a special training that brings together the basic and applied aspects of psychotherapy research.
Students develop advanced skills in diagnostics, assessment and therapeutic interventions.

A practical on-the-job training

The programme addresses professionals with working experience in clinical settings. From the second semester on a permanent clinical position (internship, voluntary work or permanent position, ideally 50% – 75%) is mandatory in order to recruit cases for the supervisions that will take place until semester 5.

A part-time study programme

The programme offers the possibility to study while maintaining a full-time employment. Classes take place on Fridays and Saturdays over the course of 6 semesters.
