Implementation
Implementation focuses on how digital technologies are introduced and integrated into everyday life. This theme explores the practical conditions needed to ensure that these technologies are accessible, usable and meaningful for all, especially in diverse and ageing populations.
It highlights the importance of digital inclusion, access, skills and trust, showing that successful implementation goes beyond technology itself. By taking a user-centered and inclusive approach, this theme emphasizes the need to ensure that no one is left behind in an increasingly digital society.

In this series, Mara Kroth highlights the importance of digital inclusion, showing how access, skills and trust in technology are key to ensuring that no one (especially older adults) is left behind in an increasingly digital world.
Mara co-founded the non-profit organization GoldenMe together with Johannes Heuschkel, with the aim of combating digital exclusion among older adults.
What began as a student initiative has since developed into a recognized association, supported since early 2023 by the Luxembourg Ministry of Family Affairs.
Today, GoldenMe envisions a society where no one is left behind in the digital age, making technology accessible and empowering for everyone.
