Pascale Engel de Abreu is an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Luxembourg, where she heads the Cognitive and Socio-Emotional Development Research Group and the Child and Baby Lab. Her academic background includes master’s degrees in Developmental Psychology from Université Louis Pasteur (France) and the University of Durham (UK), a PhD in Psychology from the University of York (UK), and postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford (UK), Princeton University (US), York University (Canada), and the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil). Additionally, she is a trained child psychologist with extensive practical experience working with disadvantaged children in Luxembourg, France, Niger, Bolivia, and Brazil.
