Das Buch formuliert die These, dass die westliche Moderne schon immer von einer Verlustparadoxie angetrieben wurde. Sie will Verlusterfahrungen vermeiden und potenziert sie dadurch gerade. Der Vortrag begibt sich auf eine kritische Lekt\u00fcre der \u00dcberlegungen von Reckwitz: Wie analysiert er die sozialen und kulturellen Strukturen, die das Verh\u00e4ltnis der Moderne zum Verlust pr\u00e4gten? Warum kollabiert das Verh\u00e4ltnis zum Verlust zusammen mit dem Fortschrittsnarrativ in der Sp\u00e4tmoderne? Warum eskalieren Verlust\u00e4ngste und Verlusterfahrungen in der Gegenwart?
