The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance hosted a scientific meeting and reception for the 2020 and 2021 Fondation Pierre Werner Scholarship recipients on 20 October, 2021. The event, which brought together the eight laureates and their PhD supervisors as well as representatives from FDEF, the Fondation Pierre Werner, the Fondation de Luxembourg and Pierre Werner\u2019s family, was held in-person at the Weicker Building under the Covidcheck regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the 8 laureates, 2 of them belong to the Doctoral School of Economics, Finance and Management. Congratulations to all the winners and especially to our PHDs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rana C\u00f6mertpay<\/strong> (Belgium, Turkey), with the subject \u201cEssays on the Economics of Migration and Forced Displacement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
