The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance on 12 December celebrated the graduation of its Master students, with a candidate from the Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) winning the prestigious Prix Germain Dondelinger.<\/p>

The inaugural cohort of the LSCM<\/a> completed their studies during the summer, presenting their Master thesis projects to their peers, the LCL team and its industry partners at the LCL Research Fest on 28 June. During the Research Fest they were also presented with certificates of achievement by the LCL\u2019s partner, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).<\/p>

During the University of Luxembourg\u2019s Graduation Week 2018, the cohort were officially conferred their degrees and handed their diplomas.<\/p>

Graduates and their families were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Katalin Ligeti, as well as the University\u2019s Rector, Prof. St\u00e9phane Pallage, who congratulated the new alumni on their achievement.<\/p>

The former Rector and President of the \u201cAmis de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Luxembourg\u201d, Prof. Rolf Tarrach, was present to award the \u201cPrix Germain Dondelinger\u201d, which is given to the student of each of the University\u2019s three faculties who submitted the best Master thesis. The prize is awarded by the \u201cAmis\u201d in honour of Germain Dondelinger, one of Uni.lu\u2019s founding fathers, who passed away in 2015.<\/p>

This year\u2019s winner for the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance was LSCM graduate J\u00e9r\u00f4me Schank for his Master thesis \u201cCustomer Profitability Analysis in Transportation Networks\u201d.<\/p>

The LCL would like to congratulate all its graduates on the successful completion of their studies and J\u00e9r\u00f4me Schank on the additional success of winning this prestigious award.<\/p>
