A transition into more environmentally friendly transportation is necessary while keeping in mind multi-modality and bottlenecks. Innovation is going to disrupt supply chains and alter flows of goods.<\/p><p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icshge.org%20\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Conference page\" rel=\"noopener\">ICSHGE conference<\/a> targets individuals and organisations to exchange and share their experiences, novel ideas and research findings regarding all aspects of sustainability, human geography, environment and interdisciplinary societal studies \u2013 and discuss the practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted during such experimentation.<\/p><p>Almost 100 entrepreneurs, researchers, officials and other stakeholders made this conference a great networking opportunity.<\/p><p>This presentation of Prof. Mantin goes in line with the LCL research and education projects.<\/p><p>Please note:<\/p><ul class=\"ulux-list\"><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">our upcoming annual <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/fdef\/department_of_economics_and_management\/luxembourg_centre_for_logistics_and_supply_chain_management\/news\/explore_conference_navigating_the_green_supply_chain\" target=\"_self\" title=\"2019 eXplore conference\" rel=\"noopener\">eXplore Conference<\/a><\/strong> is dedicated this year to <strong>green supply chain (12 March 2019)<\/strong><\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/fdef\/department_of_economics_and_management\/luxembourg_centre_for_logistics_and_supply_chain_management\/news\/top_3_supply_chain_trends_in_2019_workshop\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">executive education programme<\/a><\/strong> focuses on <strong>top supply chain trends in 2019 <\/strong>(<strong>13, 14, 15 March 2019<\/strong>).
