This grant is awarded yearly and is aimed at offering excellent students the opportunity to fulfill their ambitions to conduct PhD research. The grant is awarded in the form of an employment contract for a maximum of four years combined with additional travel and training budget.<\/p><p>Melvin\u2019s project, which will be supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/fdef\/department_of_economics_and_management\/luxembourg_centre_for_logistics_and_supply_chain_management\/people\/joachim_arts\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Joachim Arts personal page\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Joachim Arts<\/a>, focuses on supply chain strategies that explicitly incorporate the environmental dimension into decision-making. More specifically, they will investigate dual-sourcing strategies that consider both eco-friendly and polluting supply sources across the supply chain.
