The workshop is part of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/liser.elsevierpure.com\/en\/projects\/globalization-inequality-and-populism-across-europe\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">EUFIRST<\/a>\u00a0supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fnr.lu\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">FNR)<\/a>\u00a0(EUFIRST, n.13956644) and by the Belgian\u00a0Fund for Scientific Research\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frs-fnrs.be\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">FNRS)<\/a>. The objective of the project is to gain understanding of\u00a0(i) the conditions that cause natives\u2019 hostile or positive reactions to trade and migration;\u00a0(ii) the specific determinants of left-wing and right-wing responses;\u00a0(iii) the political competition induced by the entry or by the rise of populist parties\u00a0(how does populism affect the political platform of traditional parties?); and\u00a0(iv) the reverse impact of populism on the size and structure of trade and immigration.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Keynote speakers<\/strong><\/p><ul
