En savoir plusThe Department of Finance at the University of Luxembourg invites students to apply for PhD-student positions in Finance.The program follows the standard US format with rigorous coursework in the first year (depending on pre-qualifications) and for the remaining, up to four years, work on research projects that will make up the final thesis. All courses are in English and taught by local faculty and visiting scholars from renowned universities/business schools (e.g., University of Chicago, LBS etc.).We are looking for candidates with:a genuine interest in Finance, Economics or Statistics/Econometricsexcellent quantitative and computational skillsa good command of written and spoken English; andwho ideally already hold a research-oriented Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Financial engineering, Econometrics, Statistics or other related fields.Candidates who do not yet hold a research-oriented Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields are also encouraged to apply.
