The project underwent a gruelling two-phase selection process leaving the external reviewers particularly impressed by the excellence of the scholars and their research-history.<\/sup><\/p>\n\n<p><sup>The project\u2019s leader,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/fdef\/department_of_law\/people\/herwig_hofmann\">Herwig Hofmann<\/a>&nbsp;is Professor of European and Transnational Public Law and Head of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/fdef\/department_of_law\">Department of Law<\/a>&nbsp;at the University of Luxembourg.
