of Law, Economics and Finance. He is affiliated with the GREITMA project.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"research\"\n    >\nResearch<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>His research focuses on the impact of national tax measures pursuing environmental objectives and promoting a green economy on the Single Market. In this context, he examines how green tax policies, including tax incentives, levies, and subsidies, affect economic integration within the EU. As a <em>Rechtsreferendar<\/em> (legal trainee) at the Regional Court of Heidelberg, he was involved in diverse legal proceedings. Simultaneously, he worked as a trainee lawyer at the DG Competition of the European Commission, contributing to antitrust investigations in the financial sector. His experience at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP provided him with insights into European finance law, while his role as a research assistant at Hogan Lovells LLP in the International Capital Markets department deepened his understanding of financial regulation. Additionally, he worked as a research assistant at the Max-Planck-Institute in Heidelberg, focusing on comparative public law and international law.
