Like their predecessors, this fifth cohort of Ferrero Fellows was selected from over 40 applicants based on academic excellence, motivation and drive, as well as engagement and dedication to studies and extracurricular activities.\u00a0<\/p><p>2021-2022 Ferrero Fellows:<\/p><ul class=\"ulux-list\"><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Joni Beu \u2013 Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Faith Bonetipin \u2013 Master in Accounting and Audit<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Precious John-Kalio \u2013 Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Ayoub Lemouissi \u2013 Master in Accounting and Audit<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Andrei Vulpe \u2013 Master of Science in Finance and Economics\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p>After a short introduction from Ferrero Recruitment Center Manager, Marion Bihouee, Filippo Busceti, HR Director from Ferrero Luxembourg, welcomed all the participants, congratulated the new cohort of fellows and touched on the enduring nature of the FDEF-Ferrero partnership, which celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2022.\u00a0<\/p><p>Michael Lake, Ferrero Talent Acquisition &#038; Employer Branding Manager, provided insight into the importance of the Ferrero values of quality, integrity, and entrepreneurship in the recruitment processes. Speaking to the new cohort of Fellows, he also encouraged the group to develop qualities which are especially appreciated at Ferrero such as ownership, proactivity and innovation during their time as interns.<\/p><p>In her remarks, Prof. Katalin Ligeti, Dean of the FDEF also made mention of the 5-year anniversary milestone and highlighted the fact that the Ferrero Fellowship is open to students from all departments at the Faculty, making it truly inclusive. Prof. Ligeti further touched upon the invaluable opportunity for practical experience that the Ferrero Fellowship affords students, who often experience difficulties as they transition from academia to industry.<\/p><p>Two former Ferrero Fellows, Kristian Bracaj and Denise Herrmann were on hand to share their experiences. Mr. Bracaj, who is now working at Ferrero as a Transfer Price Department Specialist highlighted the \u201cfamily-like environment\u201d at Ferrero, stating \u201cyou\u2019ll feel welcome, you\u2019ll belong.\u201d Mr. Bracaj further lauded Ferrero for the respect that they show their interns, giving them interesting and meaningful work. Ms. Hermann, also a Transfer Price Department Specialist, underlined the exceptional experience which awaited the fellows. \u201cThe fellowship is a unique and special privilege,\u201d she told the participants, \u201cWho wouldn\u2019t want to work for a company that you know from your childhood?\u201d<\/p><p>One by one, all Ferrero Fellows then introduced themselves, thanking Ferrero for the opportunity to complete the internship programme and for the financial support.<\/p><p>Mauro Giacosa, Ferrero\u2019s Area Europe CFO, then took the floor. Mr. Giacosa, a 26-year Ferrero veteran, gave the Fellows (all of them currently studying finance or finance-related topics) specific career advice.
