{"id":805,"date":"2022-01-27T17:21:53","date_gmt":"2022-01-27T17:21:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/website.prod.unilu.spikeseed.cloud\/fdef-en\/news\/inclusive-finance-certificate-2022\/"},"modified":"2024-04-16T16:06:33","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T14:06:33","slug":"inclusive-finance-certificate-2022","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fdef-en\/news\/inclusive-finance-certificate-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Inclusive Finance Certificate 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-free-section section\"><div class=\"container xl:max-w-screen-xl\">\n<p>The ADA Chair in Financial Law (Inclusive Finance) at the University of Luxembourg\u2019s Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance, together with Appui au Developpement Autonome (ADA), a non-governmental organisation in inclusive finance, and the European Investment Bank (EIB) has organised the Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance each year since 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 27 January 2022, the sixth edition of the Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance came to an end. A total of 21 participants from 14 different countries and aged between 26 and 53 attend the programme this year. Just like in 2021, this year\u2019s event was held fully online due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lectures touched on numerous topics, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Risk Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Fintech and Regtech<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Microfinance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Performance Measurement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The certificate enables exchanges between academics, regulators and financial intermediaries, facilitating academic and non-academic cooperation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance is designed to educate and train future professionals in inclusive finance matters and combines traditional financial law with inclusive finance and development subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the programme is to deepen the participants\u2019 specific knowledge and skills with a focus on developing countries. Furthermore, the programme aims at ensuring awareness of the topic, enabling an exchange with regulators and financial intermediaries, and facilitating further academic and non-academic cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates who have registered for the programme are highly motivated and have diverse and interesting backgrounds.
