Sergio Vicente<\/a>, Assistant Professor within the Department of Finance at the University of Luxembourg<\/a>, has been distinguished for his exceptional contribution to the academic peer review process. The Economic Journal has awarded him the prestigious Referee Prize for the year 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referees play a crucial role in preserving the high standards of scholarly publications by providing insightful feedback and ensuring rigorous standards are met. Sergio Vicente’s dedication and excellence in this role have been spotted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement issued by The Economic Journal, it is stated \u201cSome of our referees contribute to this process beyond the call of duty. The quality of their reports is outstanding and a great input to the decision and revision process. With its annual Referee Prizes, The Economic Journal wants to recognize these referees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing gratitude for Vicente’s valuable service to the academic community, The Economic Journal announced that he would be one of the recipients of the Referee Prize for 2023. Along with the honor, Vicente will receive a money prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
