In the article, Prof. Mantin explained that as a result of the three-fold rise in freight prices and worldwide air cargo volume and spending, along with reduced worldwide capacity, Cargolux was able to finish 2020 with exceptional profits, while commercial passenger airlines\u2019 earnings plummeted sharply.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u201cSince the start of the pandemic, we all came to recognise the importance of air cargo transportation. Thanks to its long reach, it has been the artery, even the lifeline, of many supply chains, notably for essential products and medicine.
