By dropping \u2018Management\u2019 from its former name, Bachelor in Economics and Management, this three-year programme seeks to further differentiate itself from the \u2018Bachelor in Management\u2019 which is also offered by the Faculty.<\/p><p><strong>Creating students who are ready for a challenge<\/strong><\/p><p>The Bachelor in Economics offers a well-rounded curriculum including courses in law, geography, history and political science as well as a focus on building competencies in quantitative analysis with mathematics and statistics, which ultimately aims to prepare students for higher-level studies in economics, business management, finance or related fields. In response to an ever-changing industry and academic environment, the restructured programme now allows third-year students to choose between a \u2018finance\u2019 or \u2018strategy and innovation\u201d track during their final semester.\u00a0<\/p><p>Students following the finance module will be introduced to topics such as investment appraisal, banking and capital markets, and financial data analysis, while students who choose the strategy and innovation module will learn about marketing, supply chains, digitalisation and strategic management. Although these courses remain introductory, students will have the chance to discover real-world applications to the theory that they have learned, perhaps sparking their interest to pursue Master studies in one of these domains.<\/p><p><strong>A programme which keeps pace with change<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p><p>The Faculty offers many opportunities for students to continue their education at graduate-level, including the Master of Science in Finance and Economics, Master of Science in Quantitative Economics and Finance, Master in Wealth Management, Master in Accounting and Audit, Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
