Ferrero fellows were selected based on academic excellence, motivation and drive, as well as engagement and dedication to studies and extracurricular activities.<\/p><p>2019-2020 Ferrero fellows:<\/p><ul class=\"ulux-list\"><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Kristian Bra\u00e7aj &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Yasen Buhlev &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Denise Herrmann &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Myriam Lapierre &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Leticia Stephanes Lima &#8211; Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation<\/li><\/ul><p>2020-2021 Ferrero Fellows:<\/p><ul class=\"ulux-list\"><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Louis Kevin Gambut &#8211; Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Gabor Pataki &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Jos\u00e9 Silva &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Anxhelino Todi &#8211; Master in Accounting and Audit<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Maria Tulgara &#8211; Master of Science in Finance and Economics<\/li><\/ul><p>Bruno Conti, HR Director at the Ferrero Luxembourg Headquarters, opened the virtual 2021 solemn ceremony and greeted all participants.<\/p><p>Ferrero Group CFO, Jorge de Moragas, highlighted the exceptional learning opportunity for the Fellows students to gain valuable job experience in the headquarters of a fast-moving consumer goods multinational company like Ferrero which has experienced significant growth in recent years, increasing from 400 employees in 2010 to now more than 1,300 employees of over 50 different nationalities in Luxembourg. A champion of the initiative for Ferrero\u2019s Finance department since its early stages, Mr. de Moragas singled out the remarkable experiences of the Fellows students as well as their ongoing and highly appreciated contribution to the company.<\/p><p>Prof. Katalin Ligeti, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF) of the University of Luxembourg, highlighted the lasting success of the ever-growing relationship between Ferrero and FDEF which began as a first-of-its-kind partnership in 2017. Prof. Ligeti also underlined the importance of such partnerships in filling the gap between academia and industry, stating that, \u201cBy working together with Ferrero, we create a bridge for our students that includes relevant and continuously evolving course content, but also internships and opportunities for networking.\u201d<\/p><p>Former Ferrero Fellows Jason Cranfield and Philipp Dahlem also joined the ceremony to share their experiences with the new cohorts. Mr. Cranfield, who completed his internship in Controlling and is now working in Ferrero Germany, reminded the next generation of Ferrero Fellows that many doors are open to them, and that they have the opportunity to discover several aspects of the business through their internship. Mr. Dahlem, who interned in Sales and Business Development, praised Ferrero for giving interns the possibility to work directly with the management, including pitching projects to the Board of Directors. Both former Fellows were thankful for the opportunity to build their professional networks within a dynamic, international, and value-driven organisation.<\/p><p>One by one, all Ferrero Fellows introduced themselves, thanking Ferrero for the opportunity to complete the programme. Yasen Buhlev, a 2019-2020 fellow said that the \u201cMission and values of Ferrero set an example to follow\u201d, while Leticia Stephanes Lima, also a 2019-2020 Fellow, touched upon a nostalgic connection with the brand. \u201cThis is a perfect opportunity to be part of a company that I have been a fan of since I was a kid,\u201d said Ms. Stephanes Lima.
