It is here that the simulation of the oral proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union comes to life. Students make their oral submissions on a fictional case taking the role of Applicant, Defendant, and Agent of the European Commission or Advocate General before a panel of academics and practitioners acting as judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the case required students to analyse substantive and procedural legal issues concerning EU restrictive measures, the EU Environmental Liability Directive, and EU citizenship.
