The seminar aims to have an indepth discussion on a different human rights issue in each seminar. Presentations of 15 to 20 minutes (or up to 30 minutes if we have two or more speakers) will be followed by a group discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminars will be held on Wednesdays during lunchtime (unless otherwise stated), and sandwiches and water will be provided for registered participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PhD students will be awarded 1 ECTS for attending 5 seminars and 1 ECTS for presenting in one of the seminars. Candidates who would like to present an HR-related topic are welcome to contact us.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-spacer is-spacer-size-sm\"><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>About&nbsp;Dr Elena Cima:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Elena Cima<\/strong> is currently a Lecturer at ISE-GEDT. She holds a PhD in international law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, a Bachelor of Laws LL.B from the University of Milan, and an LL.M degree from Yale Law School. She\u2019s also Charg\u00e9e de Cours at the Law School of the University of Geneva and Co-Director of the Geneva Summer School in International Law &amp; International Humanitarian Law.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Her research currently focuses on international trade and investment disputes with an environmental component, on international disputes involving energy and, more broadly on the international legal framework applicable to energy sources, products, and activities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-spacer is-spacer-size-sm\"><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Language:<\/strong> English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a free seminar.
